TSUCHIGUMO DAIKO INTERMEDIATES  - Tuesday Nights @ 19:00 - 21:00

 

Our Tuesday classes are for those looking to push their Taiko playing to the next level. The pace is a definite step-up from our Thursday classes, and there is a greater degree of commitment required in regard to learning drills, pieces, and maintaining a higher level of fitness.

 

The focus of the class is to solidify and improve technique, rhythmical skill, form, movement, musicality, and group awareness, in addition to developing the mindset and skills for performing. Members will also learn a variety of styles, auxiliary instruments, and have multiple opportunities to perform throughout the year. 

As the class is for experienced players, new entrants will be required to pass an audition. If you've played Taiko before and would like to try out for the group, 

please get in touch via one of our social media channels, or by sending a message via the contact page. Another route into the group is to spend a suitable amount of time in the recreational group developing your skills before making the step up.

Classes cost £12.50 per session, which is usually collected in four week blocks. Students and unemployed receive a 25% discount.
