TSUCHIGUMO DAIKO 

MOKUYŌBI TAIKO - Thursday Nights @ 18:00 - 19:30 (Class A) and 19:30 - 21:00 (Class B)

 

The next step for those who'd like to take their Taiko playing forward and learn some new techniques and songs is our recreational group, Mokuyōbi Taiko. The repertoire is varied and fun; a combination of specially written pieces to help reinforce and challenge fundamental techniques, and some pieces gifted to the community by renowned Taiko groups and artists. There is no requirement to perform in public, but the group may have one or two opportunities throughout the year to showcase their skills to the public.  

 

These classes are very popular and almost always at full capacity, but we do have intake periods throughout the year. We can arrange a short orientation/audition to assess your suitability and  ease your transition into the group.

Classes cost £12.50 per session, which is collected in four week blocks. Students and unemployed receive a 25% discount.
