Steve has been practising Taiko since 2007 after being bitten by the Taiko bug a few years earlier when he first saw Kodo perform. Having retired from the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service following a 32 year career, he and his wife Gillian live in the South Lanarkshire countryside with their menagerie of animals comprising horses, cats, dogs, sheep and chickens. He likes to keep busy. If he’s not working on the smallholding or playing Taiko, he’s probably involved in one of his other pursuits which include; acting, horse riding, photography and archery….. and Star Trek………..he’s rather fond of Star Trek.
